Meet The Author
Richard Smith is the founding pastor of Hope Point Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Using Scripture to declare the beauty of God, Richard combines pastoral ministry with an active ministry among college students as well as church planters in India. Joining him in this work is his wife, Lisa, and their daughter Anna.

When we look at Jesus on the cross, we see more than a good man enduring a grueling death with heroic courage. We see the Son of God absorbing the wrath of God. We see divine blood cleansing human wickedness. We see an innocent heart sacrificed for guilty hearts. We see the power of hate losing to the power of love. We see the power of death losing to the power of resurrection.
